Biography
Stephanía Céspedes joined the firm in 2016 as senior associate. She has 11 years of experience practicing law, focusing her practice on the areas of corporate law, intellectual and industrial property and regulatory.
Stephanía provides corporate advice to local and foreign clients to formalize their national and offshore corporate vehicles, as well she provides legal advice on corporate transactions and corporate processes such as due diligence; restructuring, transforming and updating of companies; holding of assemblies; repurchase and transfer of shares; dissolution and liquidation of local and foreign companies.
Likewise, Stephanía provides legal advice to multinational companies on projects related to the healthcare sector, including regulatory aspects and protection of their intangible assets and to multinational corporations located in free zones.
As well, Stephanía provides legal advice for the incorporation of non-profit associations or registration of delegations of foreign non-profit associations.
Stephanía received her law degree, cum laude, in the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 2008. Later in 2009, she completed her Masters in Intellectual Property Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Recently, she completed her International Fiduciary Training. Stephanía speaks Spanish and English fluently.
