María Gómez joined the firm in 2014. She is an associate in the firm’s Business and Foreign Investment department, where she advises clients in the areas of contracts and agreements, corporate law, regulated sectors, labor law, free zones, and environmental law.
María advises clients in transactions of mergers & acquisitions, project financing, public and private tenders, entry to the Dominican market, as well as in the implementation of energy and tourism projects in the Dominican Republic.
María received her law degree, cum laude, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2015. Later in 2017, she completed her Master’s Degree in Corporate Business Law from the same university, likewise, in 2018, she completed her Master’s Degree in Law and Globalization from the University of Bristol in United Kingdom. She participated in the course of environmental law and management of INSAPROMA in 2015. She has attended courses and seminars on issues related to energy law, corporate law, labor law, civil law, constitutional law, among other subjects. Maria is fluent in Spanish, English, and has advanced knowledge of French.
